An Osteopathic and Vibrational Medicine Perspective

Bio's

Peter M File D.O.

Dr. Peter FileI loved medical school, learning so many fascinating things about the human  body , how it works,  how disease can invade,  and how the body heals.  I especially loved attending an osteopathic medical school (The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine) where I learned a wonderful philosophy about the body’s own healing abilities.  I became very interested in learning osteopathic manipulative treatment techniques (OMT), to help unlock the healing mechanisms of the physical body.

At the same time that I was deeply involved in osteopathic medical school studies, I began two other courses of study.

First was Energy Medicine, learning how our physical body is composed of vibrating energy which supports our health, or when blocked, allows disease and dysfunction to occur.  I learned various energetic treatment techniques to accompany the OMT training learned in medical school.

Second, was Spiritual Medicine, learning how our perspective towards life and God, as well as our emotions, our thoughts, and our feelings, can affect the cells of our body in either a healthy or unhealthy manner. I learned how low vibrational emotions, thoughts, or perspectives, adversely affect the body, the mind and the spirit. Shifting into higher vibrational patterns allows healing energy to move wherever needed.

After graduating and completing post graduate training, I went into practice specializing in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute and Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain.  I became Board Certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine by the American Osteopathic Association as well as Certified as a Diplomat in Pain Management by the American Academy of Pain Management.

Early on, I realized that chronic problems are complex and take a multidimensional approach to restore health. Advanced training in vibrational medicine includes certification in Medical Acupuncture, Low Level Laser Therapy, and Bioenergetic Assessment.

My diverse training coupled with over 30 years of practice experience has enhanced my ability to diagnose, treat, and counsel patients back to a more healthy life.

In addition to my practice, I was a clinical faculty member at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and LECOM teaching students Osteopathic Principles and Practice techniques and well as mentoring them on interacting with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

My primary office is located at 3293 Fruitville Road, Suite 103-104 Sarasota, Florida, 34237.
